Lindsay & Earl's Intimate Barn Wedding

I shot my first wedding last month!

My first experience as a wedding photographer was a challenge, but I am really happy with the way the pictures turned out. The wedding was planned to be set in a field in front of a big red barn. Awesome, right? But then a few hours before the wedding started (you know, when I was scheduled to take pictures) it started raining. And it kept raining.

Since the field ended up being a muddy mess, so the wedding was moved into the barn. And it was the most unique and memorable wedding I've ever attended.

Handmade signs on the road leading up to the barn.

The bride and groom... Before the wedding, running to the barn to take refuge from the rain, and after the wedding enjoying their first dance.
This is the dance floor where the ceremony took place.
The rain let up for a little while, just long enough to get some great shots of the groom and his groomsmen in front of the barn.

Love this casual shot of Lindsay and her bridesmaids! The cowgirl boots were such a great touch.
The decor was so great. They put a lot of hard work and time into the centerpieces and all the other unique, vintage decorations.

The ceremony was beautiful. Moving it into the barn worked out great and made it more intimate and personal.
More pictures coming soon!

  1. Hi Hannah,

This may be weird, but I am looking for a barn to get married in in Arkansas and I came across your blog and saw these pictures! I love this barn and I love your photography. Is there any way you can tell me where this barn is or who I could get ahold of to ask about it? I know you only did the photography, but I thought I'd ask. Thanks so much!
