On the way home from Kenya, we had a 10-hour layover in Amsterdam, so we took a bus/boat tour of the area. It was a great experience; just wish I hadn't been so exhausted from the sleepless 9-hour flight before.
Got to watch how this man makes wooden shoes. Very cool.
Amsterdam was a really interesting place with gorgeous architecture, windmills and waterwheels. Oh, and bicycles... everywhere!
